What initially began as an Asian Shabu-Shabu-themed restaurant, the menu of Jet 7 Bistro was eventually reworked to serve Internatio­nal cuisine with an Asian flair. Located at the heart of Quezon City, Jet 7 Bistro now offers a sublime selection of cuisines from all over the world served in an interior space that has retained an Asian flavour.

Inspired by the desire to create a menu that would appeal to a variety of tastes, the team behind Jet 7 Bistro aimed to deliver a restaurant concept that would bring delectable culinary secrets from around the world into one menu.

The kitchen of Jet 7 Bistro is run by the team of chef Chris Cordero and chef Robert Ignacio, two experience­d chefs who have worked their way up through the kitchen ranks and received their extensive culinary training locally and abroad.

To create the restaurant’s distinct style and flavour offerings that have made Jet 7 Bistro a standout in the area, the team aimed from the very beginning to find a way to highlight the two important facets of the restaurant—its ambience and its menu— and get it to work in perfect unison.

“We started with the ambience and we worked our way from there. Once we had finalised and establishe­d the interiors, we knew that our next step was to create a menu that was as sophistica­ted as the ambience itself,” says chef Chris.

Jet 7 Bistro’s ambience features an elegant and classy atmosphere that

blends contempora­ry design with Asian inspired elements. Its interior centres on presenting clean lines and asymmetry of form to complement the natural wood furnishing­s that give the space a cosy and homey ambience.

“The ambience is very important to us, but we also wanted to offer something different from the restaurant­s in the area, to give our guests classy and unique standout dishes from all over the world. So with that in mind, we created a menu that gave our guests a variety of amazing cuisines that matches our beautiful atmosphere,” adds chef Chris.

“When it all comes down to it, it’s really the brainstorm­ing and the collaborat­ion of the entire team that make our restaurant work.” adds chef Robert.

After all, besides developing a worldclass menu—offering spectacula­r dishes such as Armenian Beef Kebabs, Cuban Chicken, BBQ Beef Ribs, Pan-Seared Halibut alongside its standout offerings such as its ever popular French Cut Steak and Imported Dungeness Crabs— what Jet 7 Bistro also excels in is the intuition in knowing what it takes to create an incredible dining experience for its guests through its top-notch service.

“We built Jet 7 Bistro to be different from the other restaurant­s in the area. So not only do we serve great food but we also want to give our guests a great experience every time they visit. We want them to feel pampered and catered to,” says chef Robert.

To emphasize his point, chef Chris notes that whenever a customer orders the restaurant's signature dish, such as French Cut Steak, they always ensure to cook it in a way that not only maximizes the flavour and texture of the Angus beef but also in a way that is done perfectly to the customer’s liking. “We definitely try our best to exceed our guests’ expectatio­ns about flavour, quality, and quantity,” he says.

"Nobody serves steak that size and cooks it the way we do in this area. So it’s important to us that guests leave the place feeling that their money was well spent," adds chef Chris.

The team’s keen attention to every detail—from the food, to the ambience, and even up to the service—has built a restaurant that has achieved that wonderful pairing of ambience and food, presenting guests with a dining experience that is as riveting on the eyes as it is on the palate.
