Inspired by the world-renowned Japanese culinary genius Chef Nobu Matsuhisa and championed by Academy award-winning actor Robert De Niro and Hollywood producer Meir Teper, Nobu restaurants now span five continents with 32 restaurants in 28 different cities around the world.

It was at De Niro’s urging that Chef Nobu opened the very first Nobu in New York City in 1994 with restaurateur Drew Nieporent. Nobu was an instant hit and a culinary legend was born.

The natural growth of the Nobu luxury brand is built on service, image and hospitality, offering the complete spectrum of hotel and restaurant management projects around the world. Recently named one of luxury’s 25 Most Innovative Brands by Robb Report, Nobu Hospitality is ranked among an elite selection of global luxury hospitality brands.

With the success of Nobu restaurants worldwide, the very first Nobu Hotel opened in 2013 as a boutique hotel within Caesars Palace Las Vegas and was subsequently named one of the Hottest New Hotels of 2013 by CNN Travel.

Now the first ever Nobu Hotel in Asia, which opens later this year, will be a 321-room trendsetting boutique hotel, deliver a thrilling, celebrity-inspired and ‘fun-luxury’ experience fused with the utmost quality, and will cater to visitors to City of Dreams Manila, Melco Crown Entertainment’s new integrated casino resort currently under development at Entertainment City, Manila.

The hotel will feature a Nobu restaurant within an idyllic setting including an outdoor cabana-styled dining terrace situated on an exclusive platform deck with views of Manila Bay.

The restaurant will offer the very best in contemporary fine dining. Customers can enjoy Chef Nobu’s uniquely inspired style of fusion artistry, including worldrenowned signature dishes, spectacular sushi, and cooked dishes including Black Cod with Miso and Lobster with

Wasabi Pepper Sauce. Diners looking for something different could try Blueberry and Yuzu soba pancakes; and Eggs Matsuhisa with Roasted Asparagus, Bonito Egg sauce, Ikura and Toasted Bao; Green Tea Waffles with a Yuzu Whipped Cream; or even Tomago Yaki, a Japanesestyle omelette.

The Nobu restaurant will also offer, exclusively to its hotel guests, a special in-room menu carefully crafted by Chef Nobu.

Mr. Trevor Horwell, Chief Executive Officer of Nobu Hospitality explained: “We are very excited to be working with Melco Crown Philippines in introducing our first Nobu Hotel concept to Asia. The new Nobu Hotel at City of Dreams Manila will bring a new level of luxury, celebrity culture and sophistication and, with our Nobu restaurant, an outstanding Nobu-inspired cuisine to the Manila leisure destination scene.
