The Batangas Racing Circuit (BRC)
first opened in 1996, and has since become one of the country’s premier motorsports venues. Local and international drivers and riders have honed their skills on this track, establishing numerous records and achievements along the way. At first, the track was 2.8km long with 10 turns. Renovations in 2002 saw an additional 600m, and in 2005 further work was done to make it even longer and more challenging.
Today, the track runs 3.7km long with a total of 14 turns, and has a Grade 4 FIA license. It has a 700m drag strip, a 2.8km short course, and a 2km area for go-karts. Its facilities include permanent pit lane garages, various hospitality suites and air-conditioned rooms, and a grandstand. It plays host to various car and motorcycle races such as the Philippine GT Championship, Philippine Touring Car Championship, National Drag Racing Championship, Philippine Superbike Championship, and FORS.
BRC lies on a 25-hectare property located in Barrio Maligaya, Rosario, Batangas. It’s just a short drive from Metro Manila if you’re looking to get some track time in. The fee is P2,000 per car and P1,500 per motorcycle. Membership costs P15,000 a year.
