P120K worth of shabu confiscated in Brgy. 27

An estimated P120,000 worth of suspected shabu was confiscated late Tuesday night following a City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) buy-bust operation in Barangay 27, Bacolod City.

Police identified the arrested drug suspect as 37-year-old Renier Aguilar, a resident of Purok Star Apple in the said barangay.

CDEU team leader, Police Inspector Adrian James Albaytar, said police arrested Aguilar after he handed one sachet of suspected shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover cop.

Police recovered a total of nine sachets of suspected shabu, a coin pouch, and the P1,000 marked money.

Aguilar is now detained at Police Station 4 and faces possession and sale of illegal drugs charges./
