Pulu­pan­dan school wins fancy drill com­pe­ti­tion in Bago City

As part of the an­nual Al Cinco de Noviem­bre ob­ser­vance in Bago City, the 10th Bago City In­vi­ta­tional Fancy Drill Com­pe­ti­tion was also held, which saw En­ri­queta Mon­tilla de Es­te­ban Me­mo­rial High School of Pulu­pan­dan take top honors this year, win­ning P20,000 and a tro­phy.

Mur­cia’s Lopez Jaena Na­tional High School came in sec­ond place, while Ba­colod City Na­tional High School (BCNHS) took third.

Mean­while, among in­di­vid­ual awards, the Mur­cia-based school was named Best in Street Per­for­mance, Best in Uni­form, and Most Dis­ci­plined; BCNHS won Best Nar­ra­tion and Best Pro­duc­tion Num­ber; and STI-West Ne­gros Univer­sity pla­toon leader, Cadet Colonel Jus­tine Jade Y. Ca­bal­hin, was named Best Pla­toon Leader.

Ac­cord­ing to Bago City Mayor Ni­cholas Yulo, the com­pe­ti­tion seeks to keep Re­serve Of­fi­cers’ Train­ing Corps and Cit­i­zen Army Train­ing pro­grams ac­tive in the prov­ince.
