Nearly 200 med­i­cal tech­nol­o­gists con­verge at SMX

UNO-R, CSA-B rec­og­nized for ex­cel­lence

The Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal chapter of the Philip­pine As­so­ci­a­tion of Med­i­cal Tech­nol­o­gists Inc. (PAMET) re­cently gath­ered at the SMX Con­ven­tion Cen­ter at SM City Bacolod for an oath-tak­ing and in­duc­tion cer­e­mony for new mem­bers, which drew around 194 newly reg­is­tered med­i­cal tech­nol­o­gists from across the prov­ince.

PAMET Na­tional Pres­i­dent Ron­aldo Puno served as key­note speaker and ad­min­is­tered the oath for new mem­bers.

In ad­di­tion, the Univer­sity of Ne­gros Oc­ci­den­tal-Reco­le­tos (UNO-R) and Cole­gio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) were both rec­og­nized for be­ing named among the top 10 per­form­ing schools in the field, with UNO-R rank­ing third and CSA-B com­ing in tenth.

Also present for the event were in­terim Chapter Pres­i­dent Ma. Therese Gar­suta, PAMET-Visayas Di­rec­tor Maruja Jap­zon, along with rep­re­sen­ta­tives from Bacolod City med­i­cal tech­nol­ogy schools.
