Nearly 200 medical technologists converge at SMX
UNO-R, CSA-B recognized for excellence
The Negros Occidental chapter of the Philippine Association of Medical Technologists Inc. (PAMET) recently gathered at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod for an oath-taking and induction ceremony for new members, which drew around 194 newly registered medical technologists from across the province.
PAMET National President Ronaldo Puno served as keynote speaker and administered the oath for new members.
In addition, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) and Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) were both recognized for being named among the top 10 performing schools in the field, with UNO-R ranking third and CSA-B coming in tenth.
Also present for the event were interim Chapter President Ma. Therese Garsuta, PAMET-Visayas Director Maruja Japzon, along with representatives from Bacolod City medical technology schools.
