Nearly 200 medical technologi­sts converge at SMX

UNO-R, CSA-B recognized for excellence

The Negros Occidental chapter of the Philippine Associatio­n of Medical Technologi­sts Inc. (PAMET) recently gathered at the SMX Convention Center at SM City Bacolod for an oath-taking and induction ceremony for new members, which drew around 194 newly registered medical technologi­sts from across the province.

PAMET National President Ronaldo Puno served as keynote speaker and administer­ed the oath for new members.

In addition, the University of Negros Occidental-Recoletos (UNO-R) and Colegio San Agustin-Bacolod (CSA-B) were both recognized for being named among the top 10 performing schools in the field, with UNO-R ranking third and CSA-B coming in tenth.

Also present for the event were interim Chapter President Ma. Therese Garsuta, PAMET-Visayas Director Maruja Japzon, along with representa­tives from Bacolod City medical technology schools.
