A Poem for Him

To the creature that makes my life complete, For being the reason for my heart to palpitate; For the bundle of joy and excitement;

I just want to pass by and greet.

As our yoke of bond becomes tighter, Another awesome and fruitful year together, Always reminding me to cross our finger, For us to live together until forever!

These terminologies may be in exaggeration;

And only our Creator can deeply fathom;

But I continually hold on;

‘Cause you’re incomparable to all treasures that I may own;

With our imperfections, we continue to trudge; A journey filled with vast emotions,

Sometimes coupled with my criticisms;

But keep in mind my dear lifetime husband; That love without criticism brings stagnation; And criticism without love brings destruction!

Therefore expect my immeasurable love and numbered criticism;

For you to develop holistically as a person.

To conclude this lengthy poem;

Our Almighty Creator may grant all your yearnings;

And be a bible-inclined person,

Ponder this verse in the bible,

Psalm 37:4
