Over 1,000 res­o­lu­tions passed in 2018

The Negros Occidental Pro­vin­cial Board passed a to­tal of 21 or­di­nances last year.

Among the sig­nif­i­cant mea­sures rat­i­fied in­cluded es­tab­lish­ing a Pro­vin­cial Code for “pub­lic-pri­vate part­ner­ship for the peo­ple,” ini­ti­at­ing the Negros First An­i­mal Hub at Panaad Park and Sta­dium in Bacolod City, cre­at­ing the Pro­vin­cial AIDS Coun­cil of Negros Occidental, au­tho­riz­ing a P1.2 bil­lion Land Bank of the Philip­pines loan, among oth­ers.

Mean­while, the pro­vin­cial body also passed 1,168 res­o­lu­tion in 2018.

Records on the num­ber of or­di­nances and res­o­lu­tions penned by board mem­bers, along with at­ten­dance, are not yet avail­able.
