Over 800 food kiosks ex­pected

The 2019 Iloilo Di­nagyang Fes­ti­val, with high­lights sched­uled to run from Jan­uary 25 to 27, is ex­pect­ing 880 kiosks sell­ing food and re­fresh­ments dur­ing the an­nual cel­e­bra­tion.

“We al­ready marked the ar­eas where these kiosks will be put up and we will pro­vide them with elec­tric­ity,” said Iloilo Di­nagyang Foun­da­tion Inc. kiosk-in-charge Jo­ef­frey Agilles.

The 2.5x3-me­ter kiosks, which each cost P2,200, will be si­t­u­ated at Va­le­ria-Del­gado Streets and along Iz­nart Street, Boni­fa­cio Drive, and Ledesma Street.

“Kiosk own­ers need to se­cure their health card, which will be pre­sented dur­ing the in­spec­tion of our per­son­nel in or­der to en­sure that the food they sell are clean and safe,” he added.
