DOT-6 ac­cred­i­ta­tion team con­ducts dis­cus­sion, in­spec­tions in Capiz

The De­part­ment of Tourism-Re­gion VI (DOT-6) vis­ited Capiz ear­lier this week to hold dis­cus­sions and con­duct in­spec­tions of tourism-ori­ented and tourism-re­lated es­tab­lish­ments in the prov­ince.

A provin­cial tourism of­fi­cers meet­ing was held at the New Tourism In­for­ma­tion Cen­ter and Spe­cialty Shop, lo­cated at the Capiz Provin­cial Park in Roxas City, where Tourism Op­er­a­tions Of­fi­cer II Artemio Ticar dis­cussed the ben­e­fits of DOT ac­cred­i­ta­tion, pro­cess­ing fees, and re­quired doc­u­men­ta­tion.

Among the lo­ca­tions sub­jected to in­spec­tion in­cluded El Cir­culo Travel and Tour, Ori­en­tal Restau­rant, Al­ta­costa Beach Ho­tel, Nanay Lord­ing Nov­elty Shop, Alun­sina Ho­tel, Ver­dant Farm, Ge­calde’s Farm, FHW Dor­mi­tel, and FHW Spa.

In­spec­tions were also con­ducted on the meet­ing venue./
