LDS Charities donates sewing machines to Alangilan high school

LDS Charities, the humanitarian arm of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, turned over 25 sewing machines, along with dressmaking materials, to Alangilan National High School during a ceremony last week.

The materials, which cost a total of P452,000, will be used by junior high dressmaking students.

Meanwhile, after the event, the mayor also signed a memorandum of agreement with LDS Charities, Barangay Alangilan, and advocacy group A Single Drop for Safe Water Inc. to improve the water system in the barangay.
