‘Kara Mia’ cast to grace Ati-Atihan Festival

A spectacula­r celebra on of this year’s A ‐A han Fes val awaits Kapusong Aklanons as GMA Network, through GMA Regional TV, brings the biggest and brightest stars to Kalibo.

Today, the lead stars of the upcoming GMA drama series “Kara Mia”—award‐ winning Kapuso actress Barbie Forteza and Kapuso star Mika dela Cruz—will be at Pastrana Park for a Kapuso Fiesta which is set to start at 7 p.m. Joining them are their co-stars Jak Roberto and Paul Salas.

Last Friday, January 11, Asia’s Roman c Balladeer Chris an Bau sta serenaded the candidates of Mutya it Kalibo A ‐A han 2019 during the Pageant and Corona on Night at ABL Sports and Cultural Center. Kapuso Actor Jason Abalos also flew to Aklan to serve as one of the judges of the said pageant.

Considered as the “The Mother of All Philippine Fes vals,” the 2019 A ‐ A han Festival kicked off last October 26 with Katrina Halili gracing the Opening Salvo in Pastrana Park.

“January marks the beginning of colorful festivals in the Philippine­s,” shares GMA RTV Vice President and Head Oliver Amoroso.

“Just like the previous years, we at GMA Regional TV has conceptual­ized tailor-fit activities, and prepared exciting line-up for 2019 that will highlight the best of and in the Filipino through various celebratio­ns across the country—festivals that reflect the diverse cultures, colorful history, strong faith, and ingenuity of the Filipino people. And we start it off with our AtiAtihan Festival. We hope our Kapusong Aklanons will have fun meeting their favorite Kapuso stars,” he ends.
