Govern­ment to reach out to far-flung Ne­gros Occidental com­mu­ni­ties

Fol­low­ing the re­cent joint Pro­vin­cial Peace and Or­der Coun­cil and Pro­vin­cial Anti-Drug Abuse Coun­cil meet­ing at the Capi­tol So­cial Hall in Bacolod City, De­part­ment of the In­te­rior and Lo­cal Govern­ment-Ne­gros Occidental (DILGNe­gros Occidental) di­rec­tor, Atty. Fer­di­nand Panes, an­nounced plans to reach out to far-flung com­mu­ni­ties.

He ex­plained, the “Ser­bisyo Car­a­van” will travel the prov­ince and ex­tend govern­ment ser­vices to those liv­ing in far-flung ar­eas.

Mean­while, DILG clus­ter leader Fa­tima Daiz gave a brief pre­sen­ta­tion on the re­tooled com­mu­nity sup­port pro­gram as a means of in­ten­si­fy­ing good gov­er­nance. In ad­di­tion, Lt. Colonel Ino­cen­cio Pas­aporte of the Philip­pine Army 303rd
