NOPPO holds bloodletting activity

-

The Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOPPO) held a bloodletting activity at Camp Alfredo M. Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City on July 28 as part of the culmination of the 25th Police Community Relations Month celebration.

With the theme, “Pinaigting na Ugnayan ng Mamamayan at Pulisya, Laban sa Covid-19 Pandemya,” this year’s celebration is very relevant as the province still battles the threat of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Around 136 donors joined the said activity which was in partnership with the Negros First Provincial Blood Bank headed by their coordinator, Rommel Bolivar.

NOPPO officer-in-charge Colonel Romy Palgue thanked the donors and facilitators who made the activity successful.

He said the activity was also very timely because of the possible increase in the demand of blood due to the probability of increased incidence of dengue in Negros this rainy season./
