The battle was fierce for the past months. But even despite the ad hominem attacks, cyberbullying, which included sexual harassment comments, the toxicity on the internet I had to face, and spending my own money to help people with food and transportation expenses, I am so proud of myself for supporting and campaigning VP Leni’s presidential bid.
Though the election result did not do well in our favor, the sense of belongingness and the warmth of every Kakampink started a fiery fire that will never stop burning for the country. The truth will always prevail, and the good will always triumph over evil.
We did our best, and we supported and fought for clean and good governance. We rallied behind a woman with a clean track record – no hint of corruption and has an impressive portfolio of good deeds, especially towards the marginalized sector.
She is a transformational leader who has transformed us all and ignited a spirit of camaraderie in us. Thus, all our efforts and votes are worth it.
And as VP Leni said: “Hindi pa tayo tapos.
Thus, I stood, and still stand, with her as she continues to fight for and help ang mga nasa laylayan. Because these people deserve a voice, a voice that needs to be heard, as much as ours.
God bless, Pilipinas!/
