The over P11.788 million check for 27 LGUs was handed over by PCSO General Manager Melquiades Robles in a ceremony held in Aklan’s Malay town, based on the agency’s released statement.

The highest share of P2.176 million was received by Leyte province, while Iloilo province got P1.86 million.

The recipients from Western Visayas included the Aklan province and its municipalities, namely Banga, Nabas, Numacia, Makato, and Malay; Capiz’s Roxas City; the province and city of Iloilo; and Negros Occidental’s cities of Silay and Kabankalan.
