REAL BRIDE, REAL BEAUTY
Heidi’s passions are her professions. She is in the business of finding and offering real estate properties that are for sale, rent, lease, or development in the Philippines and in Canada. She also helps secure these and other assets or investments through offering non-life insurance.
Aside from her work, Heidi also loves travelling and discovering restaurants since her family is also in the hospitality and restaurant businesses. She chronicles these experiences and more in her lifestyle and travel column published in a newspaper.
THE LOVE STORY
Heidi and her fiancé met in Vancouver during the week of the World Rugby Sevens. He took her out to a French restaurant and they hit it off right away. And in just a period of one week, they went out four times.
Since they got together, the couple enjoyed discovering new restaurants together, exploring different cuisines, and watching home shows.
“I love that he’s a kind-hearted person, very decent and honorable,” shares Heidi.
Unlike most brides who go for a natural look on their wedding day, Heidi prefers to widen her eyes with smokey shades.
And for the Real Bride Real Beauty shoot, Ria Aquino worked her wands to create this look.
“I wanted to give Heidi a youthful glow, so I prepped her skin well, gave her soft brown smokey eyes with rosy cheeks and lots of highlighter,” shares Ria. “She has expressive ‘smiling’ eyes, so I decided to highlight this feature.”
Ria used soft browns, topped with thick mascara, to open up her eyes and soften her features. Rosy cheeks, contoured on the sides, gave Heidi the blushing bride feel.
Heidi was sure that she wanted her hair down on her wedding day, which is why the hairstylist worked on creating soft waves and volume on her tresses. This hairstyle perfectly framed Heidi’s face and gave her a youthful, effortless vibe.
“I love that it’s romantic and feminine. It’s nice to see me all dolled-up,,” says Heidi.
