THE BRIDE

Steph and her fiance, Anjo, are in the business of helping people achieve a healthy lifestyle through a venture called Super Smoothies. It’s a delivery service of pre-portioned fruits, veggies, and superfoods used for blending smoothies. And since their HQ is located in her home, most of her time is spent here.

“I have a lot of free time so what I like to do is watch Netflix and Youtube (beauty-related videos mostly!), take care of our new puppy Poco, clean my house, and do home workouts like yoga and HIIT. You can say that I’m a complete home buddy!” shares Stef.

To achieve her everyday natural glow, her beauty routine includes a mild cleanser, toner, moisturizer, and sunscreen. She doesn’t apply makeup every day because she stays at home most of the time. But whenever she goes out, she likes to put on a natural make-up look with loose powder, blush, eyebrow pencil and mascara.

THE LOVE STORY

Love lurked for a little while before revealing itself to this couple. Though Steph and Anjo were acquaintances in college and were workmates right after graduation, they were not close because they hung out with different sets of friends.

But when her sister—who also happened to be the girlfriend of Anjo’s close friend—set them up for a date, their love story began to flourish. Apparently, they both secretly had a crush on each other and from this date forward, they developed a fondness for each other.

“My fiancé and I love to do simple things together like eating out, working out, watching Netflix and just hanging out in our house. He’s different from all the other guys I’ve dated before – he’s caring, patient, understanding, funny and smart. What I love the most about him is that he is an extremely malambing person even if I ignore him most of the time. He just makes me feel special and loved every single day,” says Stef.

And when the time came to pop the magic question, Anjo made it into a sweet surprise by bringing her to their old office where they first worked together. He played his guitar and sang Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” while a video of their photos flashed on the background. Stef thought that this gesture was for their 3rd anniversary, but little did she know that he’ll propose at that moment.

THE LOOK

For their wedding, Stef wanted to look simple, fresh, and natural—with emphasis on her eyes. She liked to have flushed cheeks, shimmery neutral eyes with a touch of rose gold to match her engagement ring.

For the shoot, Sari Campos for Make Up Forever Philippines created a very light, glowing and natural, no make-up look, highlighting her eyes with soft, smokey shades.

“I chose this look for Steph because I felt like she did not need a lot of makeup to bring out her natural beauty. I enhanced and highlighted her best features to create a soft look that would best suit her,” shares Sari.

For her hair, Eddiemar Cabiltes made a full brush updo with loose soft curls. He chose this hairstyle for Stef to add height or volume, and create a balancedlook with her oval face shape. He also added tendrils to soften the look.

With glowing skin, natural brows, rosy cheeks, dramatic eyes, and modern hairstyle, Stef looked dreamy and ready to walk down the aisle.
