While the tables take center stage, the backdrop completes the setup. Sandoval used fresh cypress leaves, delicate white fabric, and vases with eucalyptus leaves as accents.


Black-and-white menus and table cards from Print Divas completed the rest of the table setting, along with invitation­s accompanie­d by RSVP cards. Made of simple matte paper embellishe­d with prints and elegant script, the stationery featured a hand-cut trim that extended to the invitation, along with parchment paper and envelopes with wax seals.

The earthy vibe extends to the backdrop, which is made to resemble a mini vertical garden. Fresh cypress leaves were mounted on a metal frame to create a stripe of foliage interlaced with soft, white fabric, and framed by tall glass pillars topped with vases of eucalyptus leaves. The frame served as the couple’s area and could double as a backdrop for taking photos.

The laidback atmosphere were complement­ed by the hearty fare, courtesy of Josiah’s Catering, who came up with a curated menu by Executive Chef Jasper Versoza. For starters, Chef Jasper prepared fresh, seared scallops in seaweed and green tea oil, followed by a bowl of coconut pumpkin puree soup with beef stay sphere, poached pears and duck breast salad, and for the main course, lamb medallions with glazed vegetables and cauliflowe­r puree. The meal ends sweetly with roasted sesame and green tea ice cream macarons.

As a finale, a three-tiered wedding cake by Bethany

Dream sat on the cake table, surrounded by bouquets of green carnations, berries, achiote plants, white king proteas and phalaenops­is orchids, as well as a giant cascade of gypsophila­s, green carnations and eucalyptus leaves. The cake is entirely covered in green-and-white marbled fondant featuring a large wreath in similar colors, which is dotted with gold berries. The wreath encircles the couple’s initials, sprawled in bold calligraph­y.

From the color scheme to the wedding cake, Sandoval’s design is cohesively put together, resulting in a setup that is every bit as elegant as it is effortless.
