The moment Sei and Paolo swiped right, they might not have realized that it was the beginning of their happy ever after. Destiny used Tinder to connect them and they’re now on their way to walking down the aisle.

“At first, I was just looking for someone to talk to. We decided to meet and after several dates, we went to Cagbalete for a quick getaway. There, he said ‘I love you’ for the first time. We were official after a month of dating,” shares Sei.

The couple loves going places together, eating, sharing ideas about work, and just spending quality time with each other.

“He’s very sweet and patient. He never fails to make me laugh,” says Sei.

And when it was time to ask the question, Paolo made sure that it would be a moment that Sei would never forget.

The surprise began when Paolo gifted her with a plane ticket to Japan for her birthday. And on that trip, at Maiko Park, Paolo stopped at a Japanese umbrella that was unusually positioned on the ground. He got down on one knee and asked the question. Then he pointed to the bushes where Alessi and Beni from Treehouse Story and Oly from Metrophoto were hiding to capture the proposal. And to heighten the joy of the proposal, Paolo’s family and Sei’s mother and brother came out, becoming a part of that moment.

“I was ugly crying and at a loss for words. Good thing I only needed one,” shares Sei.
