THE 7TH PHILIPPINE WEDDING INDUSTRY BALL NOVEMBER 5, 2018 AT CITY OF DREAMS MANILA

-

On November 5, 2018 more than 600 of the Philippine wedding industry’s movers and shakers once again got together for the annual celebration of camaraderie in the vibrant industry. This year, in cooperation with City of Dreams Manila, the biggest ball was attended by no less than weddings and social events suppliers from all over the Philippines.

With yet another exciting night of revelry, members of the weddings and social events industry once again took-on the challenge and got glammed-up in British-inspired outfits for this year’s London Calling: The 7th Philippine Wedding Industry Ball. The grand ballroom was filled with guests clad in separates worthy of royal affairs and even others looking set to join the scene in the London underground. Though the guests’ attires were noteworthy, the effects of notable venue stylists 4th Wall, GMT, and Ralph & Co. Events plus Sensitivity really complimented the tablescapes and other styling provided by Amante Fleurs, Ava’s Cakes and Events, Blooms 2710, Events Central, Gary Dacanay, Gideon Hermosa, Michael Ruiz, Teddy Manuel, Thirty

One Events, and Manuel Sony Francisco Events & Floral

Designs. Stories and laughs were exchanged over bubbly and other booze provided by Engkanto Beer, Forth and Tay, Hendricks Gin, Raffa Sparkling Wines, aside from the delicious cocktails provided by City of Dreams Manila.

As expected, technical effects were also topnotch and provided by no less than 10 Inch Lights and Sounds, AM Design FX, Forsc Ink, High Impact Events Enterprise, Pixel Image, and Rage Lights and Sounds. These supported entertainment provided by host Christian Ardiente, as well as astounding performances by impersonators of British music icons, as well as a performance by The Bloomfields to cap-off and end the evening with a bang. To document highlights such as the opening number from drumbeaters dressed as royal guards, this fabulous gathering was captured by DJ Coki Photobooth, Hashtaghound, Jason Magbanua, Kre8 Media Production, and Metrophoto rendered

their services and helped us recall those fun times, while other partners Airtaxi, Bizu Catering Studio, Don Robert’s Bridal Cars, The Write Impression, supported through their own services and products, offering it for guests to enjoy that evening and through very stirring raffle prizes contributed by partner hotels and resorts, just like the all-expense-paid trips to Cebu and Davao provided by constant supporters of the annual ball such as Richgold Weddings. Those who rose to the challenge and were dressed in impeccably British fashion were shown appreciation through the annual Best Dressed awards where winners were given prizes from Hoseki Jewelry, Folded and Hung, Gourdo’s, and AF Perfumery.

Still for the benefit of Bantay Bata 163, London Calling: The 7th Philippine Wedding Industry is organized by the Philippine Association of Wedding Planners, an organization of qualified wedding planners and coordinators from different regions in the Philippines, who vow to uphold the integrity and maintain high industry standards of business ethics to further the growth of the wedding planning business and regard the profession with outmost respect and honor.
