MARRY ME AT MARRIOTT CONTINUES TO BE THE MOST COVETED BRIDAL SHOW IN THE COUNTRY

-

Everyone is talking about it and everyone wanted to be sitting front row this phenomenal bridal show. Created by Marriott Hotel Manila as their weddings campaign, Marry Me at Marriott, after years, has evolved to be the annual assemblage of the prime movers in the wedding industry, most stylish influencers, media personalities and soon-to-wed couples. Staged in the most coveted event address, Marriott Grand Ballroom, it had earned its well-deserved trademark to be the country’s top bridal show.

THE WEDDING MUST-HAVE’S

On its year, Marriott proved once again its commitment in making grand weddings come to life. Just when you thought you have seen it all, the hotel left everyone in awe of the many tricks they were able to pull up their sleeves.

As the guests went up the nd floor of the Marriott Grand Ballroom, they were greeted by a lively foyer turned to a wedding boulevard. 3rd Avenue band serenaded them with a live entertainment as everyone posed for the camera and socialize. Across it are eye-catching cake masterpieces by Marriott, each inspired by unique stories and with exceptional executions.

First for Marry Me at Marriott this year is the bridal fair featuring top wedding suppliers such as Pat Dy, Nice Print Photography, Jason Magbanua, Project Mayo 7, Write Impressions, Print Divas, Knotville, The Good Goods, Periwinkle and Lace, Albert Kurniawan, Tris Events, and Christine Ong-te Events. Each exhibitor offered product samples as scents giveaways from Periwinkle and Lace and The Good Goods, while the rest offered discounted rate on the premium services.

Filling up the pre-function space are Cosmo Skin who gave away beauty and bath products, including the skincare gift set giveaway for all the 700 guests. Free-flowing Raffa sparkling wines from Emperador Distillers were passed around to cleanse palates before the sumptuous dinner ahead. It rained exciting discounts for overnight stays at the newly opened Courtyard by Marriott Iloilo and tickets to Huling El Bimbo musical showing at Newport Performing Arts Theater.

DINNER TO REMEMBER

Headlining this year’s Marry Me at Marriott is the course wine dinner for 700 persons. Complimenting Marriott’s widerange of events spaces is their incredible catering services, that has been notable for its elaborate banquets for a thousand guests. The menu is designed by their Executive Chef Meik Brammer that will highlight not just magnificent flavors but also their culinary advocacies like sustainable seafood, organic produce, and support to local cuisine. An impressive start is the Sustainable Shrimp with chili spiked tomatinos, puree of ricotta and chives and frisee salad, paired with dry and well-balanced Gallo Chardonnay. Next is a Velvet Cauliflower Soup poured over a crispy mushroom Rangoon that is paired with medium-bodied Canyon Road Chardonnay. The main course is a Grilled U.S. Certified Beef Tenderloin Steak over a truffle potato puree and drizzled with parcini cabernet pan sauce, and paired with a glass of fruity-flavored Gallot Merlot. And the gustatory experience ended with a Mango and Guava dessert dream paired with an equally delightful Barefoot Moscato.

AN EYE FOR DETAILS

With a world-class venue of unparalleled technology, Marriott has never run out of astounding moments to showcase. Accentuating the 12-feet high Grand Ballroom are opulent

chandeliers and dazzling ceiling treatments by today’s top event stylists: Gideon Hermosa, Michael Ruiz and Teddy Manuel – or best known as the GMT. With the help of Stage Riggers Inc, the accredited partner of the hotel, the production was able to create dramatic vertical movements on the chandeliers. GMT also glammed up the pre-function spaces with drapings and provided ornate table centerpieces. Any organizer can go outside of their creative boxes in Marriott because of its state-of-the art design and technology such as the high steel platforms and catwalks.
