In God's Perfect Time

-

January 26, 2019 marks the most special day of our lives. It took us 16 years to get to this point. Gabe was finishing his residency training as an Orthopaedic Surgeon while I was working for an airline company. Weekends were the only time left for us to see each other because of our busy schedules.

Then on November 20, 2018, amidst the majestic backdrop of Japan’s Mt. Fuji, Gabe surprised me with the grandest ever proposal. Knowing him to be a very simple and shy person, that was unexpectedly remarkable.

A whole year was dedicated to the wedding planning and preparations. We went to as many bridal fairs as possible and it was a good practice period of decision-making as a couple.

Rose gold was our unanimous choice for our colour motif. It was for its underlying meaning that we chose it to represent our success, achievements, faithfulness and love for each other. There were struggles but the unconditional love truly surpassed them all.

The wedding ceremony was held in a city hotel to make it more accessible to most of our family members and guests. Manila’s City of Dreams was the fitting venue for the celebration. Its elegant golden glass interiors matched our theme. Their ballroom was filled with pastel pink flowers which blended well with my fresh orchid chignon. All the elements added vibrance to the atmosphere. Each one to a perfect fit.

Everyone enjoyed the games and all that was prepared to make the most memorable time we will treasure forever. We truly believe that God made it all happen. It was perfect indeed.
