The Christ­mas sea­son in the Philip­pines is said to be the long­est in the whole world, start­ing on the first day of Septem­ber and end­ing on the Feast of the Three Kings on the sixth day of Jan­uary. But the fes­tive part of the sea­son be­gins when glit­ter­ing or­na­ments are taken out of their boxes, twin­kling lights are hung up, and Christ­mas trees take cen­ter stage in our homes. It’s our way to ex­press our per­sonal styles while bask­ing in the hol­i­day cheer—just like some of our lo­cal celebri­ties did last De­cem­ber.

As a treat, we’ve gath­ered for you the Christ­mas trees that lit up so­cial me­dia the most. Happy New Year!

In De­cem­ber 2016, new­ly­weds Vic and Pauleen Luna-Sotto wel­comed YES! into their spa­cious home in La­guna. One year later, they’re seen cel­e­brat­ing their first Christ­mas with their lit­tle an­gel, Talitha Maria.

Christ­mas lights and gar­lands adorned the spi­ral stair­case in the home of co­me­dian Michael V. But the real star of the scene was the Christ­mas tree, which ex­tended al­most all the way up to the sec­ond floor.
