GRANT’S 7TH BDAY

On Novem­ber 19 last year, celebrity cou­ple Gla­dys reyes and Christo­pher roxas (whose real last name is Som­mereux) gave their third child Grant an ad­vance Minecraft­themed 7th birth­day party.

It was Grant who wanted a Minecraft party, be­cause he’s an avid player of the best-selling in­ter­ac­tive Mi­crosoft video game that al­lows “play­ers to build with a va­ri­ety of dif­fer­ent cubes in a 3D pro­ce­du­rally gen­er­ated world,” ac­cord­ing to Wikipedia.

Grant, who is al­ready touted as a mati­nee-idol-tobe, turned seven on Novem­ber 20, the day af­ter the birth­day party.

On Grant’s ac­tual birth­day, his proud mom took to In­sta­gram to post his baby pic­ture, which came with this lov­ing mes­sage:

“To­day marks your 7th year and I am just so grate­ful to the Lord for hav­ing you in our lives! I re­mem­ber the first time I laid my eyes on you and heard the nurses say, ‘Ma’am ang guapo ng baby nyo!!’

“you are in­deed one of my big­gest bless­ings. Pray­ing that you grow up to be a faith­ful son of God, with that, I have noth­ing to worry about. I am and will al­ways be your proud mama!!”

Ac­tress Pa­tri­cia Javier came with her hus­band, Dr. Rob Walcher III, and their sons Robert, 10, and James, 5. Gla­dys is a client of Dr. Rob’s chi­ro­prac­tic well­ness clinic in Que­zon City.

Grant’s three-lay­ered Minecraft cake was created for him by @ hon­eyglaze­cakes.

The par­ents’ wish for the birth­day boy, Gla­dys said, is for him “to be healthy al­ways, to be prayer­ful, and con­tinue to be obe­di­ent.”

Gla­dys says her son’s wish for his birth­day is to be able to visit the Le­goland Cal­i­for­nia theme park in the city of Carlsbad, Cal­i­for­nia, with the whole fam­ily any­time this year (2018).
