Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a romantic dinner or stay at Quinta do Lago

PROGRAMME || Algarve resort Quinta do Lago has unveiled its programme for Valentine’s Day, which includes everything from romantic dinners at its renowned restaurants to a three-night Valentine’s getaway.

For those looking to enjoy luxury dining with a lakeside view, Quinta do Lago’s Casa do Lago promises to be the right choice. Guests will enjoy a three-course menu created with fresh seafood and natural ingredients.

“Casa do Lago invites you and your Valentine to sit back, relax and enjoy the magical sunset, local wine and good company,” the resort says. The menu costs €59 per person (drinks not included).

Meanwhile, Casa Velha will be the place to be “for the most intimate and exquisite fine dining experience in the Algarve”.

The resort promises “an exceptional seven-course meal created by a Michelin-recommended team with a truly beautiful atmosphere set by a romantic backdrop”. The experience costs €120 per person (no drinks included) or €150 per person with wine pairing.

Bovino Steakhouse has prepared an “extra special menu, offering a delicious meal for two” costing €55 per person (drinks not included, apart from a welcoming drink). Those who want to celebrate the occasion at home can also try the restaurant’s latest service ‘Cocktails to Go’, a cocktail delivery service.

The special night can also be celebrated with a one-night stay at The Magnolia Hotel costing €210 per person and including a romantic dinner with wine pairing at Bovino Steakhouse or Casa do Lago.

If you really want to “sweep them off their feet with a luxury Valentine’s Day minibreak”, Clube da Quinta allows guests to choose from “stunning villas to unique properties, complete with private swimming pool, dreamy views and complete luxury”. Prices start at €238 per night for a minimum three-night stay. The deal also includes dinner with wine pairing at Bovino Steakhouse or Casa do Lago on Valentine’s Day, as well as “dedicated concierge with Quinta do Lago’s official rental service”.

Quinta do Lago has also unveiled a series of gifts, starting with a bouquet delivery service which will have someone deliver the floors to the door as a “romantic surprise for a special someone.”

The resort is also selling gift cards which can be exchanged for “unique experiences”.

A 60-minute couple’s massage can also be booked at The Magnolia Hotel.
