After a thor­ough ren­o­va­tion and re­open­ing in 2014, the Praia Verde Bou­tique Ho­tel has been a suc­cess story, at­tract­ing ever in­creas­ing num­bers of guests, ac­quir­ing am­bas­sadors, pos­i­tive re­views, in­ter­na­tional at­ten­tion, and awards.

The Praia Verde Bou­tique Ho­tel was the pi­o­neer­ing project for the DHM - Dis­cov­ery Ho­tel Man­age­ment brand, hav­ing been the first ho­tel to be ren­o­vated ac­cord­ing to the brand DNA and con­cept. The ho­tel's rus­tic al­beit so­phis­ti­cated am­bi­ence, its in­for­mal­ity, de­sign, dé­cor in­cor­po­rat­ing lo­cal el­e­ments and the À TERRA restau­rant with its wood-fired oven and a Josper grill soon cap­ti­vated guests.

This suc­cess is ac­com­pa­nied by re­spon­si­bil­ity and the need to meet ex­pec­ta­tions. To this end, the Praia Verde Bou­tique Ho­tel im­proved and ex­panded, adding a new floor and 25 sea view rooms to its in­ven­tory. As well as the new floor, the ho­tel also added new meet­ing rooms, a gym, in­creased the restau­rant ca­pac­ity with a new es­planade, and mod­i­fied the swim­ming pool, which al­lowed bet­ter use by guests, im­proved the sun ex­po­sure, up­graded ac­cesses and ex­panded the pub­lic ar­eas.
