Rising in an ultra-competitive and tough ranking system such as that of the Algarve hotels and resorts market is no easy task. The Eden Resort has managed to do so and that is the feedback received from our guests.
Significant changes have been made from the time DHM - Discovery Hotel Management took over the management of the Eden Resort in 2014, mostly relating to services, training, systems and higher quality standards.
However, these changes were not just implemented in terms of software, procedures, management or personnel. They are also visible in the developments and investments which have provided the resort with better facilities, making it a reference in the region.
Over the course of 2016 and 2017, the residences and the resort's bar are undergoing a complete overhaul, at the hands of designer Isabel Pires de Lima. The air conditioning systems have also been upgraded, exteriors have been painted and the hot water control systems have been renovated, among many other developments and improvements. Another highlight is the work that has been done in the gardens and other common areas such as the children's park and kids club.
The continued renovation of residences and apartments is still in the pipeline, along with the renovation and streamlining of F&B outlets and the Spa.
All these changes have enabled the Eden Resort to rise dizzyingly in the rankings of online review platforms, meeting the expectations of guests who seek out the resort throughout the year. 135 apartments and 63 villas
