Algarve wins at Tourism Awards
The 31st World Travel Awards Europe saw the Algarve win six titles. The W Algarve hotel, in Albufeira, took home the award for Europe’s Leading Lifestyle Hotel, while Pestana Alvor Praia, in Portimão, was named Europe’s Leading Beach Hotel. Two resorts in Quinta do Lago were also highlighted, with Conrad Algarve winning the title of Europe’s Leading Lifestyle Resort and Wyndham Grand Algarve named Europe’s Leading Luxury All-suite Resort. Finally, Almancil’s Dunas
Douradas Beach Club was named Europe’s Leading Resort Villas and, in Lagos, the Cascade Wellness Resort took home the title of Europe’s Leading Sports Resort.
A 31.ª edição dos World Travel Awards Europe reconheceu seis hotéis e resorts algarvios. O hotel W Algarve, em Albufeira, levou para casa o prémio de Melhor Hotel de Lifestyle da Europa, enquanto o Pestana Alvor Praia, em Portimão, foi nomeado o Melhor Hotel de Praia da Europa. Dois resorts na Quinta do Lago também foram destacados, com o Conrad Algarve a receber o título de Melhor Resort de Lifestyle e o Wyndham Grand Algarve a ser nomeado o Melhor Resort All-suite da Europa. Por fim, o Dunas Douradas Beach Club, em Almancil, foi nomeado o Melhor Resort Villas e, em Lagos, o Cascade Wellness Resort recebeu o título de Melhor Resort de Desporto da Europa.
