The Hit The Road firm has a new tour combining the Safari experience with Madeiran gastronomy. This is an experience that directly ties customers to Madeiran cuisine as they watch every step of the cooking of the famous espetada!
This Sunday tour offers a complete experience. As well as the jeep tour and the many delights one can savour riding along the landscapes of Madeira, it also combines with another noteworthy element of the island: its gastronomy.
The route begins in Santa Cruz, up the roads that trigger clients’ adrenaline. The first stop is Santo da Serra. The most curious are captivated by the freshness and colours of the products at the market. The tasting experience begins there, with several tastings that range from fried corn to poncha. It is also there that the ingredients for the espetada are gathered. Clients are part of the purchase of the meat, potatoes and bread.
Back to the jeep, the tour goes through Santana and finishes in São Jorge, at the Cabo Aéreo Café. There is the perfect scenery for the meal: barbecue pits and tables. Since drinks are not included in this package, the café serves as support for clients to buy what they need.
And the preparation of the meal takes off: a real show-cooking of the best of our gastronomy!

Este passeio, que se realiza aos domingos, oferece uma experiência completa. Para além do tour de jipe que faz maravilhas entre as paisagens da Madeira, combina ainda com outro elemento de destaque da ilha: a gastronomia.
O percurso inicia-se em Santa Cruz, subindo por estradas que suscitam adrenalina entre os clientes. A primeira paragem é no Santo da Serra. Percorrem o mercado, que cativa os mais curiosos, com a frescura e cor dos produtos expostos. Aí começa a experiência de degustação, com várias provas, desde o milho frito, à poncha. É também nesse mercado que reúnem os ingredientes para a espetada. Os clientes acompanham a compra da carne, salada, semilha e pão.
De volta ao Jipe, o passeio atravessa Santana terminando em São Jorge, no Café Cabo Aéreo. Aqui há o cenário perfeito para a refeição: churrasqueiras e mesas. Como as bebidas não estão incluídas neste pacote, o café serve de apoio para os clientes comprarem o que precisarem.
