Koleos is the third member of Renault's SUV family, positioning itself alongside the Talisman as the finest in French savoir-faire
The Koleos has just received a slight facelift that aims to introduce a few small-scale aesthetic alterations and two hefty novelties beneath the hood: a new 1.7 litre diesel engine with 150 horsepower and another 2.0 litre engine with an impressive 190 pure French thoroughbred horsepower.
Both offer just one option in terms of transmission. The new automatic gearbox is still called X-Tronic, but the 1.7 litre engine is a front-wheel drive whereas the 2.0 litre engine is still a 4x4 drive.

Há imenso espaço tanto para quem se senta à frente como para os passageiros do banco traseiro e o infotainment R-Link, que conta já com Apple Car Play, está cada vez mais evoluído, complementando uma oferta ao cliente que se aproxima como nunca das chamadas marcas premium. A cereja no topo do bolo é o fabuloso sistema áudio com assinatura Bose.
O Koleos 1.7 é ainda classe 1 nas portagens quando equipado com o sistema Via Verde, o que é um atributo fundamental para o sucesso comercial do modelo em Portugal. the all-important family usage where this type of vehicle needs to distinguish itself.
On the road, the Koleos is more dazzling when it is let loose on endless motorways rather than in city driving where its size makes less sense. Comfort is a priority and its user-friendliness is surprising for an automobile of these dimensions. There is ample space for those sitting in the front seat as well as for the passengers in the back seat and the R-Link infotainment system, which already includes Apple Car Play, is even more sophisticated, thus complementing an offering that is closer than ever to the so-called premium brands. The icing on the cake is the fabulous Bose sound system.
The Koleos 1.7 is still classified as a category 1 vehicle at the highway tolls when equipped with the automatic "Via Verde" payment system and this is a fundamental attribute for the commercial success of this model in Portugal.
