Rum Festival

FUNCHAL

Organised by the Madeira Wine, Embroidery and Crafts Institute, the fourth Rum Festival returns to Avenida Arriaga, gathering local rum producers from the whole island.

As well as tastings that give residents and tourists the chance to sample the different rums produced on the island, this event also offers a vision of the history and production of Madeira Rum.

The community that produces this beverage has been growing significantly both in terms of production and quality over the last few years.

O quarto Festival do Rum, organizado pelo Instituto do Vinho, Bordados e Artesanato da Madeira, volta a decorrer na Avenida Arriaga, juntando produtores locais de rum de toda a ilha.

Para além de provas e degustações que permite dar aos residentes e turistas a oportunidade de provar os diferentes runs produzidos na ilha, este evento oferece igualmente uma visão sobre a história e a produção do Rum da Madeira.

A comunidade de produção desta bebida, tem crescido significativamente tanto a nível de produção como de qualidade nos últimos anos.
