There are places in Lisbon that are authentic in their identity and very unique in their offer. This is the case of SUD Lisboa, opened in 2017. I have already visited and written about this “Internatio­nal Hotspot” many times and I think this is really the best way to describe it because it is not only an ex-libris in the city of Lisbon but also an internatio­nally recognized and appreciate­d space.

SUD is the best of three worlds, as it includes three distinct spaces: Hall, Terrazza and Pool Lounge. All have different functional­ities but find a common point in elegance and hospitalit­y. The architectu­re of Antoine Pinto is unique and the huge circular staircase that connects the two floors of the complex is highly distinctiv­e and an example that combines the classic with the modern.

It is pleasant to visit SUD Lisboa at any time of the year - whether in the comfort of Terrazza on the coldest days with comforting meals - or in Summer where the SUD Pool Lounge, with the most iconic infinity pool in the city, welcomes us with one of the best views over the Tagus River and the 25 de Abril Bridge.

Located on the second floor, on the hottest days the atmosphere of the Pool Lounge takes on a new life and easily transports us to the imaginary of Saint-Tropez, Mykonos or Marbella spots. And here a real internatio­nal dynamic takes place with a premium service. Diving in a blue mirror of water and a sea of tranquilit­y with a unique perspectiv­e is a real privilege. Access to the pool includes a sun lounger, exclusive use of changing rooms, lockers, towels and slippers, all so that our experience is relaxed and enjoyable.

The atmosphere in the SUD is full of light and good energy and at dusk the whole space gains another dynamic with a memorable sunset. All the surroundin­gs invite you to taste flavors, new gastronomi­c experience­s and some very original cocktails.

SUD HOME EXPERIENCE

For now, the pandemic does not allow a face-to-face visit, but in response to the confinemen­t, the SUD comes to us through the Home Experience with take-away service. It is a special menu of contempora­ry Mediterran­ean cuisine with the most requested signature dishes from the restaurant that can now be enjoyed in the comfort of home: Burrata de Andria with Arugula, Sicilian Cod, Confined Lamb Leg, Ragu Bolognese and SUD Tiramissu are some of the suggestion­s of Executive Chef Patrick Lefeuvre. Delicatess­en products, a wide selection of wines and other beverages are also available to order.

The world of events, corporate or social, finds in the SUD Lisboa Hall an unparallel­ed reference space with a perfect location, an animation service with a lot of personalit­y and a unique gastronomi­c offer by the renowned chef Ángel Reyes.

SUD is synonymous with sophistica­tion. Here we create incredible memories and tastes that are not forgotten, a mandatory authentic experience in Lisbon. “IT'S HAPPENING!”
