ALGARVE: NEVADA BOB’S REOPENED

The Nevada Bob’s mega store in Almancil (Algarve) reopened a year after the fire that destroyed the previous infrastructure and all its inventory, representing an investment of more than 600 thousand euros between the infrastructure and the golf equipment. The two-story, 540-square-meter store was designed by the same architect who designed the other two large Nevada Bob’s shops in Vale do Lobo and Estoril. In the reopening of this shop on the EN125 (next to Almancil and between Quarteira and Loulé), more modern, but maintaining the same facade of the previous one, Nevada Bob’s presents everything about golf for the three market segments - low, medium and high end - and virtually all golf products: clubs, balls, trolleys, clothes, etc. One of the novelties is a practice zone equipped with new technology (trackman system) supervised bya professional. Insider there is also an area for putting practice, with dozens of putters to try. It should be noted that during the year of reconstruction, all of the employees who were working at the facility at the time of the fire were kept. “This is a reference store for golf in the Algarve and is proof of our ability to overcome difficulties. Nevada has shown that it is capable of being reborn from the ashes,” Pedro Silveira said. The Almancil store, which continues to have Rui Guerreiro as lead manager, now has two full-time professionals, former National Coach Sebastião Gil and Ilídio Costa. Additionally, Nevada Bob’s and Group Dom Pedro Golfe, new owner of the fields of Vilamoura, signed a partnership for the installation of a training facility at Millennium, where a Trackman system will also be installed. Customers will be accompanied by a professional and will have at their disposal products from the main golf brands: Titleist, Mizuno, Ping, Srixon, Callway, Taylor Made, etc.

Amega loja da Nevada Bob´s de Almancil (Algarve) reabriu, um ano depois do incêndio que destruiu a anterior infraestrutura e todo o seu recheio, representando agora um investimento superior a 600 mil euros entre o imóvel e o material de golfe. A loja, com dois pisos e uma área de 540 metros quadrados, foi projetada pelo mesmo arquiteto que desenhou as outras duas grandes casas da Nevada, em Vale do Lobo e no Estoril. Na reabertura desta loja nas quatro estradas EN125 (junto a Almancil e entre Quarteira e Loulé), mais moderna e que mantém a mesma fachada da anterior, a Nevada Bob´s apresenta tudo sobre golfe para os três segmentos de mercado – baixo, médio e superior – e praticamente todas as marcas de golfe, desde ferros, madeiras, bolas, trolleys, roupas, etc.. Uma das novidades é uma zona de prática equipada com novas tecnologias (sistema trackman) e sempre com um profissional. No interior mantém uma área para treino de putt, com dezenas de ferros à escolha do cliente. A destacar que durante o ano de paragem para a reconstrução a Nevada Bob´s manteve todos os funcionários que trabalhavam no estabelecimento na altura do incêndio. “Esta é uma loja de referência para o golfe no Algarve e é a prova da nossa capacidade em superar dificuldades. A Nevada mostrou ser capaz de renascer das cinzas”, disse Pedro Silveira na reabertura. A loja de Almancil, que continua a ter Rui Guerreiro como responsável principal, conta agora com dois profissionais a tempo inteiro, o antigo treinador nacional Sebastião Gil e Ilídio Costa. Entretanto a Nevada Bob´s e o Grupo Dom Pedro Golfe, novo proprietário dos campos de Vilamoura, assinaram uma parceria para a instalação de uma moderna academia no Millennium, onde será instalado também um sistema computorizado Trackman e os clientes serão acompanhados em permanência por um profissional e terão ao seu dispor material das principais marcas de golfe – Titleist, Mizuno, Ping, Srixon, Callway, Taylor Made, etc...
