The male winner in stroke play (Gold category), among 60 competitors, at the 3rd Cashback World Circuit Tournament, was Pedro Silva. The tournament was played in May, over three rounds at the Porto Golf Club in Espinho. What a triumph for Pedro Silva! The young man from Miramar GC led from the beginning to the end but fought a huge duel with the runner-up Vítor Lopes (Vilamoura GC) on the last day, with both players finishing at 65, 6 under Par 71. Silva shot 204 (70-69-65), 9 under Par, to win with a two shot advantage over Vítor Lopes (72-69-65). Daniel da Costa Rodrigues (Miramar) was third with 213 (72-71-70). Pedro Silva was the third Miramar player to win the men’s stroke play on the Cashback World Circuit 2018 after Daniel da Costa Rodrigues (1st Tournament at Penina Hotel & Golf Resort) and Pedro Lencart (2nd Tournament, at Ribagolfe 1). Playing with a handicap of scratch (0), he also won in the silver category (net), but since the prizes are not cumulative Carlos Conceição (Morgado), second in the standings, got the trophy with 213 strokes (71-71- 71). In the Ladies stroke play event, Leonor Bessa achieved her first win of the season on the Cashback World Circuit. She shot 218 (73-75-70) to beat her closest opponent, Sofia Barroso Sá , from Quinta do Peru, by 10 strokes (76-77-75). Leonor Medeiros (77-78-79), also from Quinta do Peru, and Beatriz Themudo (79-7877), from the Oeiras Club, shared third place with 234. Sofia Barroso Sá, with an 8 handicap, was the winner in Silver, with 204 (68-69-67). The next Cashback World Circuit tournament will be played on July 21 and 22 at the Boavista Golf Resort in Lagos, Algarve.

Pedro Silva foi o vencedor masculino em stroke play (categoria Ouro), entre 60 concorrentes, do 3.º Torneio Circuito Cashback World, que se jogou em Maio em três voltas no Oporto Golf Club, em Espinho. E que triunfo! O jovem do CG Miramar liderou do princípio ao fim e travou na última volta um enorme duelo com o vice-campeão nacional Vítor Lopes (CG Vilamoura), com ambos os jogadores a concluírem com 65, 6 abaixo do Par 71. Totalizou 204 pancadas (70-69-65), 9 abaixo do Par, para ganhar com duas de vantagem sobre Vítor Lopes (72-69-65). Daniel da Costa Rodrigues (Miramar) foi terceiro com 213 (72-71-70). Pedro Silva foi o terceiro jogador de Miramar a vencer o stroke play da prova masculina no Circuito Cashback World, depois de Daniel da Costa Rodrigues (1.º Torneio, no Penina Hotel & Golf Resort) e de Pedro Lencart (2.º Torneio, no Ribagolfe 1). Jogando com handicap scratch (0), ganhou também na categoria Prata (net), mas como os prémios não são acumuláveis coube a Carlos Conceição (Morgado), segunda na tabela, ficar com o respetivo troféu, com 213 pancadas (71-71-71). Na prova feminina de stroke play, Leonor Bessa alcançou o seu primeiro triunfo da época no Circuito Cashback World. Somou 218 (73-75-70) para deixar a sua mais próxima oponente, Sofia Barroso Sá (76-77-75), da Quinta do Peru, a 10 pancadas de distância. Leonor Medeiros (77-78-79), também da Quinta do Peru, e Beatriz Themudo (79-78-77), do clube Oeiras, partilharam o terceiro posto com 234. Sofia Barroso Sá, 8,0 de handicap, foi a vencedora em Prata, com 204 (68-69-67). O próximo torneio do Circuito Cashback World joga-se a 21 e 22 de julho, no Boavista Golf Resort, em Lagos, Algarve.
