CARLOS ALBERTO CUP

The Carlos Alberto Cup, played between Viseu GC and Miramar, aims to honor one of the pioneers of the senior group of those clubs. Played in two stages, the first one took place in the beginning of May at Montebelo, gathering fifty golfers. Samuel Barros’Ana Paula opened the book again, winning with great prominence the two tables. In Net he got 41 points, followed by José Silva Gonçalves 38 and Luís Chaves 37. In Gross, Samuel had 24 points, with Carlos Miranda and Antonio Moita, both with 20, closing the podium. Given these results and adding the points of the top 10, Viseu GC has a 61 point advantage (351 against 290). The second stage of this years Cup will be played at Miramar in June.

ATaça Carlos Alberto, disputada entre o CG Viseu e Miramar, visa homenagear aquele que foi um dos pioneiros do grupo sénior daqueles clubes. Disputada a duas mãos, a primeira decorreu no início de Maio no Montebelo, reunindo meia centena de golfistas. Samuel Barros’Ana Paula abriu novamente o livro e deu récita, vencendo com grande destaque as duas tabelas. Na abonada conseguiu 41 pontos, seguido por José Silva Gonçalves 38 e Luís Chaves 37. Em Gross, Samuel apresentou 24 pontos, com Carlos Miranda e Antonio Moita, ambos com 20, a fecharem o pódio. Perante estes resultados e somados os pontos dos 10 primeiros, vantagem de 61 pontos para o CG Viseu (351 contra 290), que parte assim à frente para a segunda volta da Taça, que será disputada em Miramar em junho.
