CIRCUITO SUL NOS PINHEIROS ALTOS
The 1st Tournament of the South Circuit 2019 was played in the course of the Pinheiros Altos, in Quinta do Lago, with good weather (it began to rain in the last two holes) and with players from the Algarve, Lisbon and the north. In gross the winner was Fernando Folha with 30 points, beating the tie Carlos Poucochinho, second also with 30, followed by Steve Juster with 28. In the Net classification the first was also Fernando Folha with 37 points, followed by Poucochinho with 37 and Fernando Ayensa with 36 points. The women’s event was won by Elvira Gama with 30 points, followed by Adelaide Bitti 25 and Annick Le Bellec 23. In the Master Seniors won Valdemar Afonso with 35 points, followed by Angiulli Francesco 31 and Luís Gama 30. In gross he won Gunnar Vikstrom with 23 points. Special prizes went to Fernando Folha (closest ball), Amândio Pacheco and Elsa Farto (longest drive). The prizes were distributed during the lunch of conviviality in the restaurant of Pinheiros Altos. The trophies of the Opening Tournament were also delivered in S. Lourenço and Steve Juster received the trophy of the winner of the 2018 Order of Merit. The second round of the South Circuit will take place in Penina on 9 March.
O1º Torneio do Circuito Sul 2019 disputou-se no percurso dos Pinheiros Altos, na Quinta do Lago, com bom tempo (começou a chover nos últimos dois buracos) e com jogadores do Algarve, Lisboa e norte. Em gross o vencedor foi Fernando Folha com 30 pontos, batendo no desempate Carlos Poucochinho, segundo também com 30, seguido de Steve Juster com 28. Na classificação Net o primeiro foi também Fernando Folha com 37 pontos, seguido de Poucochinho com 37 e Fernando Ayensa com 36. A prova feminina foi ganha por Elvira Gama com 30 pontos, seguida de Adelaide Bitti 25 e Annick Le Bellec 23. Na prova de Master Seniores ganhou Valdemar Afonso com 35 pontos, seguido de Angiulli Francesco 31 e Luís Gama 30. Em gross ganhou Gunnar Vikstrom com 23 pontos. Os prémios especiais foram para Fernando Folha (bola mais perto), Amândio Pacheco e Elsa Farto (pancada mais longa). Os prémios foram distribuídos durante o almoço de convívio no restaurante dos Pinheiros Altos. Foram ainda entregues os troféus do Torneio de Abertura em S. Lourenço e Steve Juster recebeu o troféu de vencedor da Ordem de Mérito 2018. A segunda prova do Circuito Sul terá lugar na Penina a 9 de março.
