VISABEIRA CUP
Leonel Seixas was the great winner of the event commemorating the 11th year of the Viseu GC and will therefore have his name inscribed on the Visabeira Cup. The winner was 38 points was followed by young David Lopes with 37 and Cristina Fonseca, Carlos Ferreira, Sandra Batista, Ronald Warner and Teresa Cabral all with 36. In Gross João Couto, former pro from Montebelo, led with 29 points, two more than Luiz Albuquerque and seven more than Leonel Seixas and Cristina Fonseca. As usual, during the excellent buffet dinner at the Príncipe Perfeito Hotel, with the presence of around one hundred and fifty members and their family, a video of the event was viewed and the prizes were awarded to the many associates who distinguished themselves during the last year. Luis Albuquerque (Club), José Santos (Mid-Amateur), António Cunha (Senior), Sandra Batista (Ladies) and José Marques / Carlos Duarte were the 2018 champions. In the Orders of Merit, Gross victory for José Santos, Senior to Jaime Fernandes and Ladiess for Sandra Batista.
Ogrande vencedor da prova comemorativa do 11º ano do CG Viseu foi Leonel Seixas, que terá por esse motivo o nome inscrito na Taça Visabeira. O vencedor somou 38 pontos e foi seguido pelo jovem David Lopes com 37 e Cristina Fonseca, Carlos Ferreira, Sandra Batista, Ronald Warner e Teresa Cabral todos com 36. Em gross, o ex-pro do Montebelo João Couto, liderou com 29 pontos, mais dois que Luiz Albuquerque e mais sete que Leonel Seixas e Cristina Fonseca. Como é habitual, durante o excelente jantar buffet no Hotel Príncipe Perfeito com a presença de cerca de centena e meia de associados e família, foi visualizado um vídeo da prova e entregues os prémios aos variadíssimos associados que se distinguiram durante o último ano. Luís Albuquerque (clube), José Santos (mid-amateur), António Cunha (sénior), Sandra Batista (senhoras) e José Marques/Carlos Duarte (pares) foram os campeões 2018. Nas Ordens de Mérito, vitória gross para José Santos, sénior para Jaime Fernandes e Senhoras para Sandra Batista.
