The emblematic proof of the sport calendar of the Senior Association and the most important and demanding in terms of amateur golf in Portugal, has returned with all its strength. With the participation of two hundred players from North to South of the Country, the tournament took place in the course of the Penina Golf Course. A challenging championship for any golfer. This 1st National OM was played in two days, counting the results, not only for the OM classification, but also for the qualification for the European Championships of Seniors and Senior Masters of 2020. In gross won Steve Juster with 37 points, followed by Peter Mills and Francisco Faustino, both with 30 points. In net the triumph went to João Machado with 41 points, followed by 3 players, all with 40 points: Steve Juster, Leonel Rio and Alberto Nascimento. In Ladies, in a very competitive day, the victory went to Maria José Pinto with 35 points, followed by Isabel Guedes, Célia Mitschler, Elvira Gama and Teresa Melo Cabral. In the category of Senior Masters Alberto Nascimento won with 40 points, followed by Armando Conde 38, Álvaro Caninha, José Melo Cabral and Eduardo Silva Torres, all with 36. In gross Manuel Bag gained 24 points, tied with Gunnar Vikstrom. To highlight the Hole in One reached by Leonel Rio, in Hole 13.
Aemblemática prova do calendário desportivo da Associação Sénior e a mais importante e exigente a nível do golfe amador que se realiza em Portugal, regressou com toda a sua pujança. Com a participação de duas centenas de jogadores de Norte a Sul do País, o torneio decorreu no percurso do Penina Golf Course. Um championship desafiante para qualquer golfista. Esta 1ª OM NACIONAL foi jogada em dois dias, contando os resultados, não só para a classificação da OM, mas também para o apuramento para os Campeonatos da Europa de Seniores e Masters Seniores de 2020. Em gross venceu Steve Juster com 37 pontos, seguido de Peter Mills e Francisco Faustino, ambos com 30. Em net o triunfo foi para João Machado com 41 pontos, seguindo-se um lote de 3 jogadores, todos com 40 pontos: Steve Juster, Leonel Rio e Alberto Nascimento. Em Senhoras, prova muito concorrida, a vitória foi para Maria José Pinto com 35 pontos, ficando a seguir Isabel Guedes, Célia Mitschler, Elvira Gama e Teresa Melo Cabral. Na categoria de Masters Seniores venceu Alberto Nascimento com 40 pontos, seguindo-se Armando Conde 38, Álvaro Caninha, José Melo Cabral e Eduardo Silva Torres, todos com 36. Em gross ganhou Manuel Broa com 24 pontos, empatado com Gunnar Vikstrom. De realçar o Hole in One alcançado por Leonel Rio, no Buraco 13.
