Drive Tour
The 2nd Drive Tour Tournament - National Youth Championship gathered at the beginning of March at the Dom Pedro Pinhal course in Vilamoura, 110 young golfers who competed in their respective age groups, both female and male. An event that saw three Miramar GC athletes repeat their January triumph at the 1st Tournament at the Penina Hotel & Golf Resort, also in the Algarve. They were Daniel Rodrigues (U18), Alberto Costa Marques (U14) and, in girls, Ana Rodrigues (U14), sister of Daniel. A trio that strengthens the leaders in their age rankings, now totaling 700 points (350 per win). The regular season of this circuit that determiness the national champions in the youth categories consists of six tournaments. In November, the Grand Final takes place at the Montado Hotel & Golf Resort in Palmela. The other winners in stroke play at the 2nd Tournament were João Miguel Pereira (Quinta do Peru), in U16, and Tomás Araújo (Miramar GC), in U12; and in girls, Maia Samuelsson (Quinta do Lago) in U18, and Sofia Sá (Quinta do Peru) in U16. The third stage of the Drive Tour is scheduled on May 25 and 26 at Ribagolf.
O2.º Torneio Drive Tour – Campeonato Nacional de Jovens reuniu no início de março no campo Dom Pedro Pinhal, em Vilamoura, 110 jovens golfistas que competiram nos respetivos escalões etários feminino e masculino. Um evento que viu três atletas do CG Miramar repetirem o triunfo de Janeiro no 1.º Torneio, no Penina Hotel & Golf Resort, também no Algarve. Foram eles Daniel Rodrigues (Sub18), Alberto Costa Marques (Sub14) e, em raparigas, Ana Rodrigues (Sub14), irmã do primeiro. Um trio que reforça as lideranças nos seus rankings etários, passando a somar 700 pontos (350 por vitória). A época regular deste circuito que elege os campeões nacionais nos escalões jovens compõe-se de seis torneios. Em Novembro joga-se a Grande Final, no Montado Hotel & Golf Resort, em Palmela. Os outros vencedores em stroke play do 2.º Torneio foram João Miguel Pereira (Quinta do Peru), em Sub16, e Tomás Araújo (CG Miramar), em Sub12; e, em raparigas, Maia Samuelsson (Quinta do Lago), em Sub18, e Sofia Sá (Quinta do Peru), em Sub16. A terceira etapa do Drive Tour joga-se a 25 e 26 de maio, no Ribagolfe.
