The second tournament of the South Circuit season took place on the acclaimed Sir Henry Cotton course at the Penina Resort, in excellent conditions, with spring temperatures and players from 25 clubs from the north, center and Algarve. The winner was Steve Juster with 32 points, followed by Francisco Faustino 30 and José Luís Correia 29. In Net the victory went to Alberto Crisóstomo of Quinta das Lágrimas (Coimbra), with 40 points, followed by Manuel Batista 39 and Michael Ensor 37. In the Senior Masters the trophy went to Mateus Marques with 37 points, followed by Valdemar Afonso 35 and João Pinto 33. The women’s competition was won by Isabel Cruz Lima with 32 points, followed by Bela Von Werthern 31 and Filomena Fazenda. The first guest was Sérgio Trocado with 41 points, followed by Vitor António and Alfredo Afonso. Special prizes went to Gunnar Vikstrom and José Luís Correia. The next South Circuit tournament will take place on April 26th at Onyria Palmares.
Osegundo torneio da temporada do Circuito Sul disputou-se no credenciado percurso Sir Henry Cotton, do Penina Resort, em excelentes condições, com temperatura primaveril e jogadores oriundos de 25 clubes do norte, centro e Algarve. Registaram-se bons resultados e dos cinco primeiros lugares os prémios foram repartidos entre o norte, Lisboa e Algarve. O vencedor gross foi Steve Juster com 32 pontos, seguido de Francisco Faustino 30 e José Luís Correia 29. Em net o troféu foi para a Quinta das Lágrimas (Coimbra), com a vitória de Alberto Crisóstomo com 40 pontos, seguido de Manuel Batista 39 e Michael Ensor 37. Nos Master Seniores o troféu foi para Mateus Marques com 37 pontos, seguido de Valdemar Afonso 35 e João Pinto 33. A prova feminina foi ganha por Isabel Cruz Lima com 32 pontos, seguida de Bela Von Werthern 31 e Filomena Fazenda. O primeiro convidado foi Sérgio Trocado com 41 pontos, seguido de Vitor António e Alfredo Afonso. Os prémios especiais foram para Gunnar Vikstrom e José Luís Correia.
