AEP GOLF BUSINESS CUP ESPINHO STAGE
42 companies played in Espinho at the first of the four stages that integrate the golf circuit that marks the 170 years of AEP. Next stage is in Madeira, on May 19th.
The 2019 edition of the AEP Golf Business Cup, organized by the Portuguese Business Association (AEP), took on March 16th, at the Porto Golf Club. 84 players who formed 42 teams representing companies in an initiative that seeks to foster networking between companies. “It is a golf circuit for businessmen and it allows us to create relationships of trust, friendship and to do what we all l ike: playing golf,” said Luis Miguel Ribeiro, Vice President of AEP, during the award ceremony of the Espinho stage of the AEP Golf Business Cup. In terms of results, in a tournament played in Four Ball Better Ball, the best team in Gross was EMBALGRÉS (37 points), followed by Telepizza - Águeda (35 points) and INARBEL (33 points). In Net, the winners were Kankura Golf, Telepizza - Águeda and Gladanfamous, all with a total score of 46 points. After the Porto Golf Club, follows the Madeira Island on May 19th (course still to be determined), Praia d’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort on June 29th and finally the Estela Golf Club in Póvoa de Varzim, on October 19th. The AEP Golf Business Cup is part of the celebrations of the 170 years of the AEP and seeks to stimulate the national business community through playing golf.
42 empresas jogaram em Espinho a primeira das quatro provas que integram o circuito de golfe organizado pela AEP. A próxima etapa é na Madeira, a 19 de maio.
Aedição de 2019 da AEP Golf Business Cup, organizado pela Associação Empresarial de Portugal, levou no dia 16 de março, ao Oporto Golf Club, 84 jogadores que formaram 42 equipas representando empresas, numa iniciativa que procura fomentar o networking entre elas. “É um circuito de golfe para empresários e que permite criar relações de confiança, amizade e a fazer aquilo que nós todos gostamos: jogar golfe”, referiu Luís Miguel Ribeiro, Vice-presidente da AEP, durante a entrega de prémios da etapa de Espinho da AEP Golf Business Cup. Em termos de resultados, e num torneio jogado em Four Ball Better Ball Gross, a melhor equipa em gross foi a dupla empresa EMBALGRÉS (37 pontos), seguida da Telepizza – Águeda (35 pontos) e INARBEL (33 pontos). Já em net, os premiados foram a Kankura Golf, a Telepizza – Águeda e a Gladanfamous, todas com uma pontuação total de 46 pontos. Depois do Oporto Golf Club, segue-se a ilha da Madeira a 19 de maio (local ainda a definir), a Praia d’El Rey Golf & Beach Resort a 29 de Junho e, por fim, o Estela Golf Club, na Póvoa de Varzim, a 19 de outubro. A AEP Golf Business Cup integra as comemorações dos 170 anos da AEP e procura dinamizar a comunidade empresarial nacional através da prática desta modalidade.
In this year’s edition, the big news is the awarding of a Thailand Tourism Prize, where the company with the best Net result on the circuit, in two of the four stages, will be awarded a trip to Thailand, sponsored by the Thailand Tourism Promotion Agency. Na edição deste ano, a grande novidade é a atribuição do prémio Turismo da Tailândia, em que a empresa com o melhor resultado NET do circuito, no conjunto de duas das quatro provas, vai ser premiada com uma viagem à Tailândia, com o apoio da entidade de promoção do Turismo deste país asiático.
