On a beautiful morning for golf, the Engineers Golf Club held the 2nd tournament of its 2019 Order of Merit on March 10th at the Belas Golf Club. The tournament was sponsored by Noesis, a consultant for technological innovation of Portuguese origin with a wide international presence. There were 110 players in attendance, some of whom showed great moments of form. Starting with Nuno Alemão who won the Gross classification with 32 points. Followed Rodrigo da Fonseca and Luís Pinheiro who occupied the 2nd and 3rd places with 23 and 22 Gross points. In the Net classification, it was Carlos Granate’s day to rule with 37 points. Luis Alves and Álvaro Caninha followed with 35 and 34 points. Isabel Guedes won in Net Ladies, Abílio Pinheiro in Net Seniors and Rui Meireles in the guests. In a competition debut, João Silva won a golf initiation clinic. Special prizes went to Cecília Castro and Nuno Alemão (Longest Drive) and the ‘Closest’ to Luís Antunes, German Nuno, Carlos Valente and Rui Meireles. The members of the Engineers Golf Club will return to spreading magic on the Quinta do Peru course, which will host the 3rd Order of Merit Tournament on April 13th.

Numa belíssima manhã para a prática de golfe, o Clube de Golfe dos Engenheiros realizou a 10 de Março o 2º torneio da sua Ordem de Mérito de 2019 no Belas Clube de Campo. O torneio contou com o patrocínio da Noesis, consultora de inovação tecnológica de origem Portuguesa com alargada projeção internacional. Estiveram presentes 110 jogadores, alguns dos quais demonstraram um grande momento de forma. A começar por Nuno Alemão que venceu a classificação Gross com 32 pontos. Seguiram-se Rodrigo da Fonseca e Luís Pinheiro que ocuparam o 2º e 3º lugar com 23 e 22 pontos Gross. Na classificação Net, foi dia de Carlos Granate reinar com 37 pontos. Seguiram-se Luís Alves e Álvaro Caninha com 35 e 34 pontos.Isabel Guedes venceu em Net Senhoras, Abílio Pinheiro em Net Seniores e Rui Meireles na categoria de convidados. Numa estreia de competição, João Silva venceu numa clínica de iniciação ao golfe. Os prémios especiais foram para Cecília Castro e Nuno Alemão (Longest Drive) e os ‘Nearest’ para Luís Antunes, Nuno Alemão, Carlos Valente e Rui Meireles. Os sócios do Clube de Golfe dos Engenheiros voltarão a espalhar magia no campo da Quinta do Peru, que servirá de anfitrião ao 3º Torneio de Ordem de Mérito a 13 de Abril.
