FREIXENET 12 HOLES CIRCUIT

The 12 Hole Circuit has been asserting itself as a solution for senior golf.

It allows us to practice the sport we love so much, playing 12 holes, not requiring a lot of physical effort, and the time spent is much less than what we normally spend with the usual 18-hole tournaments. On the other hand, the 12-hole tournaments will also be considered for handicap, which will further enhance this circuit.

The Portuguese Golf Federation has already made such a measure official, so soon this new one will become a reality.

Regarding the 2020 Circuit and due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we were forced to reschedule the tournaments scheduled for the 1st semester. We will have a tournament on August 31st at Belas and the remaining three tournaments in September. We will therefore complete the 5 tournaments that we had planned for the 12-hole Circuit. The final with the delivery of prizes, as initially planned, will take place in Lisbon on October 23rd.

O Circuito de 12 Buracos tem vindo a afirmar-se como uma solução para o golfe sénior.

Permite praticar o desporto de que tanto gostamos, jogando 12 buracos, não obrigando a um grande esforço físico e, o tempo despendido é sobejamente inferior ao que normalmente gastamos com os torneios habituais de 18 buracos.

Por outro lado, os Torneios de 12 buracos passarão também a ser considerados para handicap o que, ainda mais valorizará este Circuito. A Federação Portuguesa de Golfe já oficializou tal medida pelo que brevemente esta nova será uma realidade. Relativamente ao Circuito de 2020 e, devido à pandemia Covid fomos obrigados a reagendar os torneios previstos para o 1º semestre. Assim sendo teremos um torneio dia 31 de Agosto em Belas e os restantes três torneios em Setembro. Completaremos, pois, os 5 Torneios que temos previsto para o Circuito de 12 buracos. A final com a entrega de prémios e, conforme inicialmente previsto, realizar-se-á no Lisbon dia 23 de Outubro.
