SPORTING CHAMPION

The Sporting team won the third edition of the Sporting-Benfica-FC Porto tournament, which annually takes place on the Salgados course during the summer holidays and which brought together 72 players (24 per team) from all over the country.

In this annual tournament Porto FC won the first edition, Benfica won in 2019 and this year Sporting triumphed with 15 points, followed by SLB with 11 and Porto FC with 10 points. The team captains were Amílcar Camacho (Sporting), Vítor Madureira (SLB) and Mário Ferreira (PFC). Former football star Ricardo Pereira wore at this tournament the jersey he wore in his last game for Sporting, in 2007, in the final of the Portuguese Cup at the National Stadium, in which the Sporting won the Belenenses, then coached by Jorge Jesus, by 1 -0.

Aequipa do Sporting venceu a terceira edição do torneio Sporting-Benfica-FC Porto, que anualmente se disputa no percurso dos Salgados durante as férias de verão e que reuniu 72 jogadores (24 por equipa) de todo o País. Neste torneio anual o FC Porto venceu a primeira edição, os benfiquistas ganharam em 2019 e este ano triunfou o Sporting com 15 pontos, seguido do SLB com 11 e do FC Porto com 10 pontos. Os “capitães” de equipa foram Amílcar Camacho (Sporting), Vítor Madureira (SLB) e Mário Ferreira (FCP). O antigo “internacional” Ricardo Pereira envergou neste torneio a camisola que utilizou no seu último jogo pelo Sporting, em 2007, na final da Taça de Portugal no Estádio Nacional, em que os sportinguistas venceram o Belenenses, então treinado por Jorge Jesus, por 1-0.
