BRISA DO SUL TOURNAMENT

From the short game from the day before to the “long” game at Amendoeira O’Connor Jnr. Course, so was the tournament held on Saturday, August 15th, counting for the Order of Merit of the Architects Golf Club(AGC).

All the details were designed to make the tournament a success. This contributed to by the course, the field bar, fresh towels, a great lunch, and also the smiles and affability with which the players were treated by the golf and F&B staff.

The general feeling of the participants was of confidence and willingness to continue playing golf with the AGC taking into account all the precautionary measures taken at the various stages of the tournament by the Club’s management.

The tournament marked the return to the always desirable raffle and the members and guests witnessed one of the biggest and best of recent years thanks to our sponsors and the direction of the AGC .

As for the classifications, the best of the day were João Carvalho (Gross); Lourenço Santos Silva (1st Net AGC ), Vasco Horta Correia (2nd Net AGC ), Fernando Bonfante (3rd Net AGC ) and Pedro Faísca (Guests). The special prizes were awarded to Mafalda Magalhães and Rui Batista Santos (Closest); Rita Pereira and João Pereira (Longest Drive); Maria José Lima Santos and Ignacio Alcoucer (Best second shot).

Do jogo curto do dia anterior ao jogo “longo” no Amendoeira O’Connor Jnr. Course, assim foi o torneio realizado no dia 15 de agosto, sábado, a contar para a Ordem de Mérito do Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos (CGA).

Todos os detalhes foram pensados para que o torneio fosse um sucesso. Para isso contribuiu o campo, o bar de campo, as toalhas frescas, o ótimo almoço, e também o sorriso e afabilidade com que os jogadores foram tratados pelo staff desportivo e F&B. O sentimento geral dos participantes foi de confiança e de vontade em continuar a jogar golfe com o CGA tendo em conta todas as medidas de precaução tidas nas diversas fases do torneio por parte da Direção do clube.

O torneio, marcou o regresso às sempre apetecíveis tômbolas e os sócios e convidados presenciaram uma das maiores e melhores dos últimos anos graças aos nossos sponsors e à direção do CGA
