Millennium BCP and Doctors GC Summer Tournament
The Summer Tournament Club Millennium BCP and Doctors GC was held in early August at the fantastic San Lorenzo course at Quinta do Lago. The weather was good for playing golf, overcast early in the morning, with sun from mid-morning, little wind and some heat, the course at a good level, despite the green’s not being 100%. The competition was soldout with the presence of 120 players on the course, including members of Club Millennium bcp, members of the Doctors Golf Club and other players who wanted to join this event. In the middle of the round the players were able to restore energy with a tasty course bar and a box of ‘travesseiros’ (a traditional cake) from “Dona Estefânia”. Pedro Corsino Matos, with 41 points, was the Net winner, followed by João Martins and José Sousa Santos. In Gross, Gonçalo Costa won and among the Ladies, the best was Ana Serrão Neto. The special prizes went to João Carlos Madeira Rosário (Closest), Ana Serrão Neto and Manuel Brigas (Longest Drive).
O Torneio de Verão Clube Millennium BCP e Clube Golfe Médico realizou-se no início de agosto no fantástico campo de San Lorenzo na Quinta do Lago. O tempo apresentou-se bom para a prática do golfe, encoberto no início da manhã, com sol a partir do meio da manhã, pouco vento e algum calor, o campo em bom nível, apesar dos green’s não estarem a 100%.
A competição contou com uma casa esgotada com a presença de 120 jogadores em campo, entre sócios do Clube Millennium bcp, sócios Clube Golfe Médicos e ainda outros jogadores que se quiseram juntar a este evento. A meio da volta os jogadores puderam restabelecer energias com um saboroso bar de campo e ainda uma caixa de travesseiros “Dona Estefânia”. Pedro Corsino Matos, com 41 pontos, foi o vencedor Net, seguido por João Martins e José Sousa Santos. Em Gross, vitória de Gonçalo Costa e entre as Senhoras, melhor Ana Serrão Neto. Os prémios especiais foram para João Carlos Madeira Rosário (closest), Ana Serrão Neto e Manuel Brigas (Longest Drive).
