6TH OM TOURNAMENT PENINA, OCTOBER 4TH
The 6th Tournament of the South Delegation Circuit took place on the Sir Henry Cotton course at Penina Resort, with good weather and 45 players from 24 clubs in the North, Center, Alentejo and Algarve. This tournament defined some of the 2020 champions of the South Delegation Order of Merit. The Gross winner was Amândio Pacheco with 30 points, followed by Michael Ensor and Carlos Poucochinho, both with 28. In Net, Thierry Von Kanel won with 41 points, followed by Henrique Pinheiro 40 and Amândio Pacheco 39. The Women’s event was won by Manuela Paulino with 32 points, followed by Arminda Von Kaenel 31 and Elvira Gama 26. In the Senior Masters, Amândio Pacheco won with 39 points, with Valdemar Afonso in second place, also with 39 and José Gago Leiria in third with 38. Among Guests, Sérgio Trocado won with 33 points, followed by Cândido Lemos and Maria Jesus Bispo.
The prizes from the last tournaments and the Order of Merit of the South Delegation were given during the lunch at the Closing Tournament, which took place in November at the Pinheiros Altos course (Quinta do Lago).
O6º Torneio do Circuito da Delegação Sul disputou-se no percurso Sir Henry Cotton do Penina Resort, com bom tempo e 45 jogadores de 24 clubes do norte, centro, Alentejo e Algarve. Este torneio definiu alguns dos campeões de 2020 da Ordem de Mérito da Delegação Sul. O vencedor gross foi Amândio Pacheco com 30 pontos, seguido de Michael Ensor e Carlos Poucochinho, ambos com 28. Em net ganhou Thierry Von Kanel com 41 pontos, seguido de Henrique Pinheiro 40 e Amândio Pacheco 39. A prova feminina foi ganha por Manuela Paulino com 32 pontos, seguida de Arminda Von Kaenel 31 e Elvira Gama 26. Nos Master Seniores venceu Amândio Pacheco com 39 pontos, ficando Valdemar Afonso em segundo lugar, também com 39 e José Gago Leiria em terceiro com 38. Nos convidados venceu Sérgio Trocado com 33 pontos, seguido de Cândido Lemos e Maria Jesus Bispo.
Os prémios dos últimos torneios e da Ordem de Mérito da Delegação Sul foram entregues durante o almoço do Torneio de Encerramento, que decorreu em Novembro no percurso dos Pinheiros Altos (Quinta do Lago).
