ARCHITECT GOLF ON A POSTAGE STAMP
CTT Mail of Portugal founded in 1520 by King D Manuel is the oldest Portuguese company. Over the centuries they have been following the country’s history and, in 2020, the 500th anniversary year, in collaboration with the Architects Golf Club, they presented a collection of stamps dedicated to golf. The edition of personalized stamps discloses Portugal, which is the best golf destination in the world, as well as the AGC that celebrated twenty years of existence last year and was thus distinguished by CTT.
The launch ceremony of the philatelic series and the entire personalized AGC postcard, took place last November at the National Golf Training Center of Jamor with the presence of the President of the Portuguese Golf Federation, Miguel Franco de Sousa, Raul Moreira, director of CTT and the board of the AGC.

Ao longo dos séculos foram acompanhando a história do país e, em 2020, ano de comemoração do 500º. aniversário, apresentaram em colaboração com o Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos uma coleção de selos dedicados ao golfe. A edição de selos personalizados divulga Portugal, que é o melhor destino de golfe do mundo, bem como o Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos que comemorou, no ano passado, vinte anos de existência e assim foi distinguido pelos CTT. A cerimónia de lançamento da série filatélica e do inteiro postal CGA personalizados, realizou-se em novembro passado no Centro Nacional de Formação de Golfe do Jamor com a presença do presidente da Federação Portuguesa de Golfe, Miguel Franco de Sousa, Raul Moreira, diretor dos CTT e a direção do Clube de Golf dos Arquitectos.
Given the pandemic situation, the event took place on the lawn outside the clubhouse, benefiting from an excellent autumn day, sunny and even hot.
These were very significant moments for the promotion of national golf. Participants signed the entire first day postcard with the stamp.

Dada a situação de pandemia, o evento teve lugar no relvado exterior à clubhouse beneficiando dum excelente dia de outono, soalheiro e até quente. Foram momentos muito significativos para a divulgação do golfe nacional. Os participantes assinaram o inteiro postal com o carimbo do primeiro dia.
