CARLOS FELÍCIO (1947-2021)
Afriend, Carlos Felício, Vice President of the National Association of Senior Golfers (ANSG), died in early April at the age of 73. lawyer and passionate golfer, Carlos Felício was afflicted with a sudden illness, which createded a huge wave of dismay in national golf, especially in all those who knew him well. Carlos Felício has been on the board of ANSG since 2012, assuming the vice-presidency from 2018. He was also a director of other associations and clubs. “The news of the sudden death of our Vice-President, Carlos Felício, leaves ANSG and everyone also deprived of him with deep regret,” reads a note released by the Association, which highlights his personality marked by “easy treatment” and cordiality. “As well as all your contribution and availability for the promotion and practice of senior golf.” The Association regrets the loss “of a friend,” which will be “felt by everyone,” remembering the “many hours of work and dedication” to golf in general, and to ANSG in particular. “A reference. His loss will be felt by everyone, leaving us to preserve his memory and love for the Association that he was so passionate about.”
Um amigo. Carlos Felício, Vice-presidente da Direcção da Associação Nacional de Seniores de Golfe (ANSG), morreu no início de Abril aos 73 anos. Advogado, golfista apaixonado, Carlos Felício foi acometido de doença súbita, que originou uma enorme onda de consternação no golfe nacional, principalmente em todos os que com ele privaram. Carlos Felício integrava a direcção da ANSG desde 2012, assumindo a vice-presidência a parir de 2018. Era também dirigente de outras associações e clubes.
“A notícia da morte súbita do nosso Vice-Presidente, Carlos Felício, deixa a ANSG e a todos que privámos com ele num profundo pesar”, lê-se numa nota divulgada pela Associação, onde é destacada a sua personalidade marcada pelo “trato fácil” e a cordialidade. “Bem como toda a sua contribuição e disponibilidade para a divulgação e prática do golfe sénior.” A Associação lamenta a perda “de um amigo”, que será “sentida por todos”, lembrando as “muitas horas de trabalho e dedicação” ao golfe em geral, e à ANSG em particular. “Uma referência. A sua perda será sentida por todos, restando-nos preservar a sua memória e o gosto pela Associação que, tanta paixão lhe dedicava.”
